Foundation Learning
Our Foundation Learning Department enables students with SEND to progress onto positive outcomes.
Foundation Learning covers a variety of highly supported, personalised learning pathways that enable students with SEND to progress into positive outcomes and develop the skills they need to live rich, meaningful lives.
Positive outcomes may include the next steps into further education, apprenticeships or supported internships, paid employment, volunteering and independent living. The curriculum offers a wide range of experiences for students to work towards Preparing for Adulthood outcomes, develop skills towards independence, improve communication skills, make healthy, safe choices and contribute to the community and society.
