Level 3 Beauty Therapy Techniques (VRQ)
Course Overview
This programme is designed to equip learners with the knowledge required at all levels to start your career in the Beauty industry. It offers an exciting range of units for you to study in our modern well-equipped salons, supported by our team of highly skilled, highly qualified tutors.
This course will assist learners with confidence, communication skills and prepare them for working life.
What You Will Study
Some of the units include:
- Monitor and Maintain Health & Safety Practice in the Salon
- Client Care and Communication in Beauty-Related Industries
- Provide Body Massage
- Provide Facial Electrotherapy treatments
- Provide Body Electrotherapy treatments
- Provide Micro-Dermabrasion
You will also be required to attend a work placement in a salon one day per week. The work placement team can help you with this.
You will have a range of practical & theoretical assessments to complete dependent on the level and type of qualification being studied. You may also be required to produce a portfolio of evidence.
Level 2 Diploma in a Beauty Therapy qualification
PLUS
GCSE English or Maths at Grade 9-3
My favourite parts of the course are colouring, cutting and being creative. It’s a nice feeling being able to make people look nice.
