Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing
Course Overview
This qualification will allow you to improve your Hairdressing skills and take them to a more advanced level, working on models and clients.
Please note that this course is designed for those who have completed a Level 2 NVQ qualification or equivalent.
What You Will Study
You will be assessed on:
- Consultation
- Creatively Cut Hair
- Creatively Colouring Hair
- Creatively Style and Dress Hair
Additional units to be selected from:
- Colour Correction Services
- Providing Specialist Hair and Scalp Treatments
- Providing Creative Hair Extension Services
- Cut men’s hair styles
- Fulfil salon duties
- Coursework
- Exam
- Continuous practical assessment.
For this course you must have successfully completed the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing.
If you have not achieved a Grade 4 or above in GCSE English and/or Maths you will be required to continue studying these alongside your college course.
After the Level 3 you can then move on to a university to study the subject further.
I’ve really enjoyed the practical assignments which have tested my teambuilding skills and fitness.
