Maths & Science
Develop the skills needed in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) industries such as medicine, astrophysics and technology.
At Wakefield College, besides A Level Mathematics, we also offer Further Mathematics and Core Maths - ensuring our students have the option to enhance their learning further. Science subjects can either be taken as A Levels or a BTEC and are taught in our well-equipped and modern labs.
Maths and Science are considered ‘facilitating subjects’ and are highly regarded by both universities and employers where they require a high level of mathematical, statistical, problem-solving and analytical skills.
